Layering Textures & Patterns into a Flower Pot

This is the first of the Bite-Size Classes I’m developing for all of you to enjoy!

These are colorful online, mixed media painting classes in video format that are affordable, uplifting and informative. Each class will contain little tidbits that you can incorporate into your own painting. Class Details:

Description: This mixed media online painting class teaches you how to layer collage, paint, patterns and stencil into your painting to show depth, texture and interest. We will painting a flower pot for this class, but you can paint anything you like! These are pre-recorded video lessons that you can do anytime from any computer. Materials List:

• Medium size canvas or heavy watercolor paper
• A selection of any acrylic paint you like and some sort of palette (a paper plate will work)
• Golden soft gel – gloss, semi-gloss or matte
• Paint brushes
• Color Shaper or old credit card
• Water jars
• Paper towels
• Collage papers such as book pages, newspaper, decorative papers or rice papers
• Stencils
• Rags or paper towel for messes
