This painting was done with the upcoming venue of a show at Cimmaron Books Gallery in mind. (A coffee shop and gallery).
Each morning looking at my grandmother’s china cups bring me such pleasure I had to paint one. The Russian label on the coffee bag came from my sister in New Orleans, from a tin she sent long me ago. I love to save these things and incorporate them into paintings.
Add a very traveled, well-camped espresso maker and – WALA. Handmade stamps, pastels and watercolors, along with India ink are incorporated into this 30″ canvas. I had so much fun with this painting, I think the cool yellow is my new favorite color!

I especially love the tea cup Kelly – but it’s a gorgeous composition all and all.
The teacup was my grandmothers, so it set the tone on this one. Thanks and I can’t wait to take a look at your blog!
That would be ‘Voila!’, sista. 🙂
Loving your work, as usual.
Thanks sista. Hope all is well in your world. Stop by if you get here. Love to the fam!
