What if my landscapes never turn out – Or I'm worried this will be too complicated? – I make it doable for you with my step-by-step recipe to walk you through a CLEAR process. If you get stuck, just watch the BONUS Q&A call, "How to Fix It" examples of student paintings in process – In each example, you'll see exactly where these Artists got stuck, and the real-life steps they took to move past that and create a painting they love – so you can do it too! You'll learn to turn your painting into something you’re proud of.
What if I've never enjoyed painting landscapes? – Yes, they are overwhelming when you don’t have a step by step plan for doing them. But I'll give you my playful process to actually enjoy learning to create a painting you can be proud of .
Do you offer any cheaper classes? – Not on Landscape Painting. But you can do 3 payments if that helps!
What size canvas do I need? – Any medium to large size canvas will work. I recommend you go bigger than you're used to, because I'll be here to guide you through the process. 30" x 20" is great, or 36" x 24" is amazing. Minimum recommended is 20" x 16". Most students are happy that they went bigger.
What are the dates and times for the class? – You'll have immediate access to start your painting course right away, and can do it at your own pace.
How long will I have access to this course? – You'll have access to this course for an entire year, plenty of time to complete one painting.
What if I don’t have time for this now, but I’d love to do it later? – No problem, you can join now and access the class for up to 1 year – Easy peasey!
What’s on the supply list? – A medium to large size canvas for this painting and a Gelli Plate. You probably have everything else if you're an acrylic painter, but you might want to grab some exciting new colors you love. OR, just use the acrylic paints you have. That’s perfectly fine too.
I haven't worked on a canvas larger than 16x20". Are techniques different than what we learned in your other classes? – Although the mixed media techniques are similar, the process is different. Painting larger, and painting landscapes can be a complicated process. I make it easier for you by teaching you my step-by-step process that I've taught in workshops over and over with great success. (see the photos!).
Do I have to be an experienced painter to take this class? – You do NOT have to be a master painter. If you have painted for approximately a year, or taken some painting classes, you can do this. If you have absolutely no painting experience, this class is not for you.
What if I have NO IDEA how to do landscapes? – Perfect! This class will give you a doable, fun process to create your own big landscape painting in just a few weeks. You'll have an incredible sense of accomplishment, and be amazed what you are capable of when you have a recipe and guidance!
