Spring Dreams was painted during a chaotic, sleep deprived week. I had promised the painting as an auction item to help raise funds for an animal shelter in Telluride. My dad was in the hospital, my son needed me, and I had my graphic design business to run. Life was in full swing. It was a good lesson in getting art done during less than ideal times.
Food for thought: I recently read that despite all the things that people do to try to feel happy, helping others is the main thing that does it.
This week, I’m just happy to report that dad is on the mend. Goodnight!
