Thank you Kellie! Inspiration for the day 😉 I have carved my own stamps now and then over the years…yet NEVER thought to carve letters! How ’bout that!?
And I LOVE using them in my work…we learn something new everyday, and I thank you for this TODAY 😉
Hi Wanda, so glad to hear you found new application for the stamp making! I love your enthusiasm!
Kellie I am beyond thrilled to be taking your mixed media online workshop. Before hand, I’ll use your tutorial here to create some stamps. I have on hand the block printing ink by Speedball. However, since it is water soluble I’ll get some Ranger archival ink (waterproof) as soon as possible. P.S. an artist friend from Escalante will be in Durango this summer and I told her about your show. Thanks again.
Hi Rae Ellen, I’m thrilled you’re in class too 🙂 … Thanks for spreading the word. I hope the tutorial gives you lots of great ideas! Kellie
great video. look forward to carving some stamps.
Thanks Carol, I’m so glad you liked it. I plan to do many more! Kellie
Thank you for this! I have a carving tool but have never bought a rubber carving block. I know what I will be doing tomorrow!!! Sweet- I have that Ranger stamp pad!
Hi Agnes, glad you are jazzed to do some stamping. The Ranger stamp pad is so elegant – Enjoy! Kellie
Very cool. I’m going to send this to a friend and see if she wants to try it with me soon. Thanks for the tutorial. I wish I could take your workshop, but I’m going back to school in the fall, doing a 2-year fiber art program in North Carolina. So I’m excitedly saving my money to be a starving student. Good to know I can refresh my ink with water too, thanks again, can’t wait to try it.
Hi Kelly! Nice to hear from you. That’s super exciting that you’re going back to school for fiber arts – good for you! It must feel great to be planning for something you really love! I’m so glad you like the tutorial 🙂 …. Take good care! Kellie
Thanks for the stamp carving tutorial! I am going to try it!
