Gold Everywhere

Right now, in southwest Colorado, there is Gold Everywhere. The colors and the warmth, and the perfect days permeate every cell in your body. To be in the mountains right now is euphoric. There is enough warmth and gold to go around for everyone. And we SAVOR these days before winter.

I have been so deeply moved by the Gold leaves on Red Mountain Pass, that this painting seeped out of me. With collage, and Irridescent Gold Paint, and acrylics, I created these trees with many layers. In the end, I added Gold Foil for the leaves.
