Raven Party

Every day when I drive home there’s a party of ravens on the fence near the river. This is my interpretation. I love ravens and have written about them on my blog over the years. I love being in the desert when all you can hear is the flap of their wings. I love their disheveled look, and the way a thousand colors reflect off their shiny black wings. And how they always seem to be having a conversation with another bird, even if it's a much bigger bird, like an eagle. This painting was made with hand-made original collage papers, acrylic paint and Old Crow Medicine Show music.
