I’ll also show you why creativity is a calling you can’t keep ignoring – and how to create your “inner home” through art. Plus Terri’s story of how she found her happiness again and made a botanical series.

PAINTING TRAINING 2 – In this second session, you’ll learn how to turn your playful study into an actual painting on canvas, plus my 3-step process to create a regular painting practice, so you can step into your life as an artist THIS YEAR!

Thank you, Kellie… I needed that!
Thanks Kellie, you always are so inspiring! I loved your quick flower study. It’s so fast and easy, but is so joyful!
So happy to hear you enjoyed this Della, thanks for your comment!
beautiful… if I was committed to my art I would be a more fulfilled person… happier, more alive, more present. I go through phases of being connected to my art…. And I have a lot of half finished projects…. For me money is the issue… thank you kellie
So true Victoria! Money is only an issue if you let it. There are lots of free painting tutorials on youtube, and student grade paints are more affordable. When there’s a will, there’s a way. Happy painting!
Thank you Kellie! I love how you make sure to keep everything about this exercise so playful and not serious. We aren’t pulling an expensive canvas out, it’s just paper…but the process is important. My art is missing from my life right now for many reasons, but I’m reminded here that it just might be that the process matters more than I know and I have a lot of paper to play with, so why not?
Thank you again!
Amy
Great to h ar from you Amy! I’m glad you enjoyed the training! 10 minutes here and there can keep it alive.
Thank you Kellie! Your words resonated with me! I like the 10 minute practice also. What type of paper/notebook did you paint the vase and flowers on?
Great to hear Jane! The first study was done in my Mixed Media journal – I love having all of my studies in one place. The paper is thick enough to get wet and collage a little. Happy painting!
thanks!
I love the reminder to not grip the paint brush like its life or death!!!!
Yay Nicole, it really helps! So glad you’re here.
Thank you Kellie! I so appreciate the jumpstart and a delightful project in my studio on a wintery, Colorado snowy Saturday afternoon!
You’re so welcome Cristin! The perfect day to paint!
I love how cheerful your art is. your color choices, the looseness of your lines and your subjects. Very inspiring!!
I love my landscapes from your landscape class!!!
These flowers are fabulous!
That’s great to hear, thanks Pamela!
I have appreciated the first 2 lessons. Take away ~ Play time really makes a difference :) I noticed the agility of free motion which it just came out. This was very helpful. I never have done a fun play time pre-project. However, I will now, because I really noticed a difference in the outcome of the second bigger piece. (I have just the Art Journal to apply the pre-play applications in) I had a Mentor tell me to always create something everyday. So I have. This has been VERY helpful to me in many ways. I highly suggest everyone to do something, anything everyday. It truly is a game changer. Thank you for reminding me to dance when creating :) and the reminders! You are a JOY Kellie :)
Hi Jeanine! I’m so glad you got so much out of these videos, and I appreciate your kind words! Thank you
These three videos were fantastic and really addressed many of my questions and concerns. Thank you, Kellie!
I’m so happy to hear that – thank you Pam!
Just listening to your voice calms my fear(S)! Thank you for helping me get back to the playing with my ideas and finding my voice.
