Your Artist’s Journey Begins: 4 Simple Steps to Paint Your Dreams in 2025

Finally ready to honor that artistic dream you’ve been carrying? Here’s how to make 2025 different…

Are you starting to dream about your new life in 2025 and how everything feels exciting and sparkly?

If you’re like me, you can’t help but think about your goals and dreams for the year ahead. And somewhere in there – maybe it’s been quietly tugging at your heart for a while now – is that desire to finally become the artist you know you could be.

I know that creative spirit within you has been patient – maybe too patient. So today, I’m sharing a transformative 4-step journey that will help you finally bring your art to life. No more watching another year slip by without touching brush to canvas.

Here’s the thing: beating yourself up about not painting? That’s yesterday’s story. Let’s write a new one together…

Step 1: Feel the Fork in the Road

Take a quiet moment. Close your eyes and imagine two paths:

First, peek down the path where you continue to set your creativity aside. Really sit with it. How does it feel to keep your artistry locked away for another year? Another five? To keep saying “someday” while that creative well inside you stays untapped?

Now, turn toward the second path – the one where you’ve finally said “yes” to your art. You’re in your space (maybe it’s flooded with morning light, like my studio in the Rockies), brush in hand, music playing softly. You’re creating work that moves people. You’re finally living as the artist you’ve always been.

Step 2: Embrace Your Creative Truth

Here’s what I’ve learned from working with hundreds of women: Your art isn’t on hold because of laundry, meetings, or family obligations. Those are just the surface stories we tell ourselves.

The real story? You haven’t yet recognized the magnitude of your creative power. If you could see what I see in you – that raw, natural talent waiting to be unleashed – you’d already be painting.

Step 3: Honor Your Artistic Soul

Let’s get honest with ourselves. Not the careful kind of honest we use at dinner parties, but the deep-in-your-heart honest we share over coffee with our closest friends:

  • How long have you been carrying this dream?
  • When you see other artists sharing their work, what stirs in your heart?
  • What would it mean to finally give yourself permission to be the artist you are?

Take a deep breath and say it with me: “I choose to honor my creative spirit and bring my art to life in 2025.”

Step 4: Take One Bold Step Forward

Here’s where we transform dreams into reality. Choose one action that calls to you:

  • Join a class where you’ll find your artistic community
  • Start small but meaningful: open that sketchbook and make your first marks
  • Immerse yourself in inspiration through an art tutorial that lights you up
  • Or, if you’re ready to truly soar, partner with an Art Mentor who sees your potential and knows how to nurture it

Remember: The artists who are living their dreams today aren’t the ones who waited for the perfect moment. They’re the ones who started exactly where they were, with what they had.

If you’re ready to make 2025 the year your art finally blooms, I have something special coming your way. Watch your inbox this week, or better yet, message me and let’s start a conversation about your artistic journey.

With warmth and creative spirit,

P.S. Scroll down to meet some amazing women who were once exactly where you are. They didn’t think they “had it in them” either – and now they’re creating artwork that takes my breath away.
