Songbirds for Spring
These little birdies were commissioned by a lovely lady, and I have been in pure delight the past couple of days creating these.💙
I began this painting by collaging musical notes, rice papers and other handmade ephemera into the background, with transparent paints and Gels. I then lovingly and delicately created the birds on top with delightful, colorful papers and hand-drawn fine gold lines. The final touch was developing the branches with papers from my sister.
