Tequila

What better thing than sitting in a South American hut with a bottle of tequila, limes, salt and friends? This painting started with clip art of a man on a motorcycle, and I dripped paint around the image to make the tequila bottle, and layered brilliant high end paints to form the blues, while collaging rice papers to form the tablecloth. The letters are made from handmade stamps on rice paper. Layers of gel are painted on top of the bottle to form the sheen of the glass and create the tequila mood.
