Tuning into greater inspiration for your art

Tuning into greater inspiration for your art

A lot of time I hear women saying they can’t take time for themselves or their Art because there’s so much going on in their lives. But for Artists, taking care of ourselves is literally our JOB. It’s how we “fill our tank” to tune into greater inspiration to our Art.

You can’t make art from staring at a blank canvas. Creating Art comes from tuning into greater inspiration.

And that only happens by taking time and space for ourselves to allow inspiration to through us. It is the pre-curser to creating all art. You have to absorb the beauty around you and truly feel it if you are to fully convey it in your paintings.

Inspiration literally comes from the words In + Spirit. When you are in spirit you are relaxed, you are breathing more deeply, and you’re experiencing your SENSES instead of the million thoughts that are in your head making you frantic.

Your senses are what you convey to the world through your Art.

What I mean by that is –

  • Stopping to smell the flowers
  • Taking an extra moment to feel the soft breeze on your face…
  • Inhaling the scents it brings you
  • Experiencing colors more deeply. Colors have energy that affects us on a heart level and can shift our being.
  • Listening to the bird song, or the river

All of these things are gifts to us for being here on Earth. We are so lucky to be here. But if we don’t allow ourselves to experience these gifts, they are not for us.

Be aware of the choices you make:

  1. You can go through your day (which adds up to your life) in your energy of “getting everything done” and checking off your To-Do list.
  2. OR you can go through your day (which adds up to your life) enjoying the gifts it brings you.

**Which of these 2 choices do you think will bring more moving Art?

You might be asking me, “How will I get anything done if I’m going around smelling the flowers all day?”… This isn’t about giving up your whole day, it’s about creating a routine, or a ritual for taking a little time for yourself each day, and simply slowing down. This is how you begin to live as an Artist.

Is there a chance you’re neglecting your self care because you feel it’s indulgent or lazy? Or are you possibly NOT doing it at all?

Are you telling yourself, “I’m good at self care”, but have you REALLY experienced the deep effect two hours to yourself can have on your art when you deeply nurture your being?

Nobody likes a martyr.

Martyrs are exhausted, cranky or sad, and no one respects them because they aren’t standing up for what THEY need.

Martyrs are people who think they don’t have value unless they sacrifice themselves. And if that’s you, it’s not your fault. You were probably raised to believe that. But if so, it’s time to let it go.

“You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.” – Max Ehrmann

It’s time to let that lifetime training go. If you’re a neglecting YOU, ask yourself –

  • What kind of example are you setting for your kids, or is this affecting your relationships?
  • Do you really want to be exhausted and sick when you’re 60 or 70?
  • Do your co-workers really respect you on a deep-level for being a fascinating and fully alive human being?
  • Do you really respect YOURSELF for this?

Successful, healthy amazing, fully-living people rock their self care. It’s what they do Because they know that you don’t get something from nothing.

If you have a creative calling and you’re neglecting yourself, chances are you are neglecting your Art as well – and therefore will never really rock your Art, and make the gorgeous paintings you could be making RIGHT NOW.

Because guess what? (and here’s the take-home message) …

Your Art IS your Self Care.

If you have a creative calling and you are neglecting your art, you are neglecting your SOUL.

You must take action towards our dream if you want to make it happen. Your dreams don’t come to fruition by thinking about them for years while you keep the house or career up.

So if you’re ready to nurture yourself on the deepest level possible, and give yourself the gift of your Art, I can help…

I have opened a few times on my calendar this week to speak with a few women who are committed to taking their art to the next level now, and ready to get the support you need to make a big leap forward with your Art.

If that’s you, you can book your call at kelliedayart.com/booking … These calls are going fast these days, as my program has become very successful. So if you’re serious about your Art – don’t wait.

*Please don’t book a call with me if you are just looking for free information, these calls are only for women who are ready to work with an Art Mentor in my time-tested program, and ready to invest in themselves. Read the reviews here.

You have to take action on your dreams to make them happen.

If you’re ready to start expressing your heart and soul with your Art, I can’t wait to talk with you!
