Video: ART & Healing

Art for healing

A lot of women come to me because they’ve had trauma in their past. Or they had neglectful or even abusive parents. Often they were told, “You’re not good enough” or “You can’t make a living as an artist”. Now matter how much work you do on yourself, these voices can still form part of your identity, and hold you back in life.

Watch this video to find out ways you can use painting to start healing these wounds.

Art is an incredible way to get in “the flow” and out of your thinking head that can keep you in that negative cycle.

Enjoy these short clips of how you can get in the flow and enjoy the healing affects of painting. It’s a lot of pressure if you’re just trying to make an amazing painting. But if you look at your art as a way to relax and feel soothed, it can be an incredible healing tool. If you’ve experienced trauma, or you haven’t had much support with your Art, this is a new way to approach Art as medicine.

Watch the video above to see these inspiring clips!

PS. If you’re tired of trying to figure everything out on your own, and you’re ready to get the tools and support to be a happier, more productive Artist, I can help. You can book an Art Breakthrough call with me here. Please don’t book a call with me if you’re just looking for free information. These calls are for women who are ready to go from dabbling to professional quality painting, and get the support to live their best life. If that’s you, I’d love to talk with you here!
