If 2021 fell by the wayside for you, this can be the year you finally LIVE AS AN ARTIST – making paintings that you love, and even selling. Here are some video clips to make starting feel less intimidating.

Remember that elated feeling when you made your last great painting?

• YOU knew it was good.
• Your FRIENDS and everyone who saw it said it was GREAT!
• And maybe someone even wanted to BUY it!

Do you remember how you felt when you finished it, photographed it, and hung it on the wall?

Did you look at it and feel really good about yourself? Maybe you felt lighter all day long, knowing you made something beautiful.

There is truly no feeling like making a gorgeous painting. And if you haven’t made one in a while, you might feel like life is a little “flat”.

For many women who have wonderful lives in all other areas – great family, great house, nice health – they still feel something is missing without their Art.

Art is the most personal calling you can do. It’s not for anyone else but you. AND it’s a pure REFLECTION of you. (Which is why it can be scary to start)

If you’re an Artist at heart, and you’re not creating, it can feel like you’re missing a part of yourself. … If this is YOU, and you feel like you’re not FULLY LIVING without your Art, when are you planning to begin?

Starting is the hardest part for many women when it comes to creating. Unfortunately, if you don’t make a decision to start now, your Art goes by the wayside and never happens.

Instead of feeling bad about yourself, realize it’s a new year and a new opportunity to make the gorgeous paintings that are inside of you now. All you have to do is BEGIN.

Here are some reasons women don’t start:

1. They keep making excuses
2. They make everything else more important
3. They just can’t get out of their comfort zone – no matter how much they “want” to be an Artist, they are stuck in old patterns.
4. They are afraid they aren’t good enough (this is usually the root cause)

It takes great bravery to commit to your Art and really go for it. That’s why I tell my students they are very special, because they are the rare few who are willing to take that risk and believe in themselves, and really go for it.

When you finally give yourself the gift of actually going for it, the results are incredible.
