Did you ever notice that when your energy and happiness are low, that it feels like nothing’s going well?

It’s a common law of the universe that when you’re UP things go well, and when you’re DOWN, things feel like kinda bad.

What you focus on, you draw into your life.

All the “Gurus” tell you that you can create whatever life you want, but they don’t tell you HOW.  I’m going to tell you how right now…

It’s very easy to decide things aren’t working out for you as an Artist and to throw in the towel or give up for a while. I hear about it all the time.

The more you believe in yourself and your artwork –  the more you share this with others, the more your happy, creative energy spreads – and more people are attracted to your Art.

But what if you’re TRYING to believe in yourself, but every time you make a painting it comes out less than you’d hoped for – and you feel MORE discouraged. What then?

•• This right here is a MAGIC MOMENT. This exact moment is where you create the life you want. ••

This is where you DECIDE to create what you want in your life.

Because if you stop here, and decide things aren’t working, then things won’t work.

But why would anyone decide that things won’t work – or give up? One reason:

OLD HABITS.

Our brains form what I like to call “wagon ruts” or neural pathways from repeated patterns of thinking. So if you grew up in a negative thinking pattern,  it is much easier for your wheels to stay in the same old track.

In my family, for example, we have a deep thinking pattern of “there will never be enough money”, and “we always have to worry and live in fear.” I have worked for years to get out of these thinking patterns and form more positive wagon tracks. And guess what… every time I stay in my new tracks – great things happen.

But the moment I fall back into my old negative thinking patterns, passed down for generations in my family, things don’t go well.

It takes concerted energy to create new neural pathways – or new wagon ruts on a more positive track! People love to stay in their familiar zone, even if doesn’t feel great, because people like to stay where they are used to. It’s easier, and it takes less energy.

So how do you actually create the life you want?

NUMBER ONE: You DECIDE you are dedicated to getting out of your current track. No matter how hard. When you make that one decision, and TAKE ACTION to start creating your new wagon tracks, you are on your way. This one moment can change your whole life.

Let’s look at a few examples of how this works:

EXAMPLE #1: A life event happens: Your paintings don’t look that great.

A) You can choose to stay in your old wagon rut: DECIDE your Art is bad, and you’re probably not that great of an Artist. Give it up for now.

OR

B) You can DECIDE you are a great Artist and have great paintings in you, and that you’re going to be dedicated to finding a way to make them.

EXAMPLE #2: A life event happens: You make some great paintings, have a show, and nothing sells.

A) You can DECIDE this just isn’t working and feel bad about yourself as an Artist.

OR

B) You can DECIDE to give yourself some love because that doesn’t feel good, and then pick yourself up and find a better place to show your Art next time, with an even better display, and even better paintings. Because you have decided to be a great Artist.

What you’ll find is that the Universe will respond to your choice. If you decide you suck, you’re probably not going to have many great opportunities come your way. If you decide you’re a great Artist and keep going, good things will start happening for you.

What you believe is what you create.

Why? Because we act on what we believe. And what you act on, produces results. So if you’re ready to be a great Artist, do this:

  1. Believe it and be dedicated to it – If you’re dedicated to your Art, you will keep going, through the ups and downs, and successes will follow. Celebrate them so that you reinforce your success. Don’t focus on any negative. Just give yourself love and move on.
  2. Take action – Simply hoping for great Art isn’t enough. Taking action such as finding teachers, learning skills, and pursuing opportunities that feel right for you are steps you can take that will pay off in the future.

Your incredible Art life is waiting for you.

There are so many dreams and magical moments – synchronicities – coming your way. All you have to do is Decide to be Dedicated, and take Action. When you do that, the Universe will support you.

If you’re ready to start making your greatest paintings, and living the life of a joyful Artist, I can help: You can book an Art Breakthrough Call with me, and I’ll help you figure out where you’re stuck and what you need to create your successful, joyful Art Life … and if I can help you get there, I’ll show you what that looks like.

Please don’t book a call with me if you’re just looking for free information. These calls are for women who are ready to invest in themselves and be professional quality painters now. If that’s you, I’d love to speak with you.

With love and creativity,
